11 मार्च (2025) की सुबह पतरातु में सूरज की पहली किरण जैसे ही फैली, उसी वक्त एक और “ऊर्जा की किरण” जन्म ले चुकी थी। पतरातु विद्युत उत्पादन निगम लिमिटेड (PVUNL) ने अपने स्वप्न को हकीकत में बदलते हुए 3x800 मेगावॉट सुपर थर्मल पावर प्रोजेक्ट के पहले 800 मेगावॉट यूनिट को सफलतापूर्वक सिंक्रोनाइज़ कर दिया।
इस प्रकार PVUNL ने घोषणा की है कि फेज-1 के 3x800 मेगावॉट यूनिट्स को दिसंबर 2025 तक पूरी तरह से कमिशन कर दिया जाएगा, जिससे लगभग 2400 मेगावॉट बिजली उत्पादन शुरू हो जाएगा। इसके बाद फेज-2 (2x800 मेगावॉट) की योजना है जो फिलहाल योजना चरण में है और उसके लिए स्तर पर अनुमति और प्रगति अभी बाकी है।
On the morning of March 11, 2025, as the first rays of the sun spread over Patratu, another “ray of energy” was born. Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL) turned its dream into reality by successfully synchronizing the first 800 MW unit of its 3x800 MW Super Thermal Power Project.
With this achievement, PVUNL announced that all three units under Phase-1 (3x800 MW) will be fully commissioned by December 2025, enabling power generation of about 2400 MW. Following this, Phase-2 (2x800 MW) is planned, which is currently at the proposal stage, awaiting necessary approvals and progress.
